Behavioral Health Proposal Writing Opportunity One of the nation's largest independent behavioral health care companies is looking for an experienced Proposal Specialist to assure the development of high quality basic and complex public sector and commercial proposals. This individual is responsible for crafting and coordinating RFP responses in collaboration with key stakeholders including the Vice Presidents of Sales and external and internal customers. As part of the Sales Support team, he/she will also lead departmental special projects (such as developing standard language and white papers) and quality initiatives. The Ideal Candidate: - Has a solid proposal writing background (at least 3 years of successful experience) within a behavioral health sales and marketing environment including design, layout and production of quality documents - Has demonstrated creativity and exceptional writing skills - Must be well organized, professional and capable of readily handling periodic high pressure, tight deadlines and interaction with senior staff. - Will maintain and strengthen an atmosphere of professionalism, collaboration, teamwork, and ethical behavior within the Department. - Has proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher for Windows including complex formatting, and multiple disk formats For the right candidate, this position does not require relocation.
