Clinical Psychologist

with experience evaluating and treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Qualifications required:Doctoral degree in either Clinical or Counseling psychologyValid, unrestricted license, or certification to practice as a PsychologistTwo (2) years experience within the last thirty-six (36) monthsExperience evaluating and treating a patient population with PTSDBLS/CPR

Daily/weekly Schedule:The Center is open between the hours of 6AM and 6PM, Monday - FridayShifts will generally be 9 hrs in lengthThe Psychologist will not work in excess of 80 hours per 2-week periodSpecific 2-week schedules will be made 1 month in advance

Compensation:Competitive compensation will be discussed with interested, qualified candidates6 weeks of paid vacation per year (annual plus sick)10 paid holidays per yearNo after-hours callNo weekends

Clinic Description:Deployment Health Center: Naval Hospital, Beaufort, SCTwo primary goals of the DHC: 1) to remove barriers to patient care for service members returning from deployment; 2) identify emerging health conditions related to deploymentFocus will also be on the evaluation and treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)Patients will include active duty Marines and their families
