Auditor, Financial Audit & Compliance

We’re seeking an individual responsible for reviewing financial and accounting transactions, analyzing data, identifying/monitoring activity changes, assessing results and drafting a report on the status of Plan compliance.  Additionally, responsible for auditing (desk and on-site), report drafting, survey drafting and various follow-up activities to determine Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield entities’ (Plans) compliance with Inter-Plan Programs Policy financial requirements.

Required Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or equivalent experienceThree years experience in internal/financial auditing, health insurance accounting, general accounting, cost accounting, and/or financial reportingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Access

Preferred Basic Qualifications:
Experience with analyzing data and cause/effect situations to identify potential irregularities and audit issuesExperience in project management and meeting deadlinesCPAAbility to structure complex data/situational analysis and project impacts/results, prepare summations of complex issues in reports and present results to customers, both external and internalAbility to develop and grow client relationships
