Associate Technical Claims Specialist

Coventry Health Care is currently seeking individuals to join our team in the role of Associate Technical Claims Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the bill review payment recommendation.

 If you have experience in the review of HCFA and UB04 medical bills and/or knowledge of Workers Compensation fee schedules/guidelines, then we have been looking for you. Prior medical billing or customer service experience is a plus.

This is a first shift, Monday through Friday position with no weekend work. We have an excellent benefit package (most benefits start on the first day of employment), paid time off, 401 K with a company match and CAREER ADVANCEMENT.

Job Requirements include:
High school degree or equivalent Able to effectively handle multiple tasks.Demonstrates effective keyboard skills; able to navigate within a computer/systems-dependent environment without assistance; experience in a windows-based computer environment preferred.Able to absorb and apply new and changing information. Displays a positive, confident attitude.Highly self-motivated and accountable Skilled at developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
