Primary Responsibilties: Initial triage of members, administrative intake of members or managing the admission/discharge information post-notification, working with hospitals and the clinical team, including managing incoming calls, managing requests for services from providers/members, providing information on available network services as well as transferring members as appropriate to clinical staff. Manages the referrals process, processes incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations. This function includes intake, notification and census roles. Limited work experience. Works on simple tasks using established procedures. Depends on others for guidance. Work is typically reviewed by others. Qualifications:6 months + experience working in a Customer Service capacity is required. Familiarity with MS/Word is required. Typing skills of 35-40 wpm is required. High School Diploma or GED is required. Must be able to listen to a phone call and type at the same time. Call Center experience is preferred.
