We are looking for an experienced Licensed Nurse to be our Assisted Living Director. This person will be responsible for the personal care services provided by the community staff to residents; the health assessment and services planning for all of the community’s residents; and care coordination for residents’ health needs from the health care community and vendors. This position manages a staff of paraprofessionals through supervision, education and support. The Assisted Living Director provides health-related expertise for all residents, families, staff and outside referral sources.
Your dynamic leadership combined with superior communication skills, a high degree of professionalism and ability to promote a healthy lifestyle for all will be instrumental. Ideal candidates will be a Licensed Nurse with prior progressive management experience. A background in senior health management is recommended and a current nursing license is required. The ability to demonstrate evidence of current geriatric knowledge and state regulations are also necessary.
