Assisted Living Clinical Program Manager-Newton, MA (280392-645)
DescriptionFive Star Quality Care, Inc. a leader in Senior Living is seeking an Assisted Living Clinical Program Manager to be based out of Newton, MA office. This position reports to the Corporate Director of Clinical Services and will be responsible for the following:*Management of Resident Service Policy Manuals (revision/development) *Coordinate the development of new and enhanced AL programs *Chair Nursing Practice Committee (AL) and Medication *Management program workgroup Management of company-wide Resident Level of Care/Service programs (AL Wizard etc) and weekly monitoring of compliance (with RDH group) *New acquisitions: Assist RDH in the implementation/transition to Five Star programs/policies *Provide educational conference call and/or presentations at regional meetings *Maintain current knowledge of state specific AL regulations (30 states) and update AL policies as needed *Assist with mock surveys in AL properties where needed *Assist with orientation of new RDH’s and RSD *Assist with monitoring AL portfolio clinical indicator outcomes *Assist with developing policies/best practice guidelines for IL properties where needRequired SkillsReports to: Corporate Director of Clinical ServicesCore Competencies:RN, BSN (Masters preferred) 3-5 years multi-property leadershipRequired ExperienceMust be an RN with a BSN or Masters (preferred). In addition MUST have 3-5 years experince with MULTI PROPERTY leadership experience in an Assisted Living environment.Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in presentations to large groups, have excellent organization skills, detail oriented, proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Air travel is required
