Hammond Whiting Care Center in Whiting, Indiana ASSISTANT DIRECTOR of NURSING Full-time position, Monday – Friday. 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Position includes on-call duty rotations. (EOE/M/F/V/D)Requirements Must be an RN with at least an ASN degree and Indiana licensure. Must have two years’ long-term care experience. Candidate must be self-directed and flexible to the shifting responsibilities of the job. Need good leadership skills to ensure others are clinically compliant. Basic computer skills are necessary. Responsibilities Position assists the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all laws, regulations and LCCA standards.
