Purpose.Assistant Director of Health Services (ADHS) – RNAt Silverado Senior Living, we give life to those affected by Alzheimer's and other memory impairing diseases. We are presently seeking an Assistant Director of Health Services to join our Assisted Living Community. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for gerontology and working with individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments. This is a nursing leadership position, with growth potential with Silverado Senior Living, an award-winning dementia-care company. This ADHS position may prepare the nurse to assume a future Director position with Silverado.The ADHS is a key leadership position for establishing excellence in nursing care in an interactive stimulating environment. Pets, children and social interaction are fundamental to providing dignity and life for our residents.The ADHS will report to the Director of Health Services (DHS). In partnership with the DHS, this position will be key in monitoring quality of nursing care to our dementia residents, mentoring and training of new nurses, team leading, communication with families and physicians, and assessment of residents’ health conditions.
