ABOUT US:

The Free Sacred Trinity Church (FSTC) offers career opportunities to Christians from all religious traditions who are interested in a holistic approach to mind, body and spiritual well-being.  Our non-denominational Church has been operating healing ministries since 1976. FSTC is a non-denominational Church rooted in early Judeo-Christian doctrine.  The Church's primary ministry is one of healing carried out at its Mission, the Optimum Health Institute.  At OHI's San Diego and Austin holistic health centers, FSTC promotes spiritual and physical healing by teaching ancient spiritual disciplines to align the mind, body and spirit.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Assistant Controller will provide timely and accurate monthly financial statements and financial analysis for FSTC and its subordinate organizations. Work in our corporate office located in Kearny Mesa.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead month end close and financial statement preparation

· Prepare account reconciliations and analysis

· Prepare monthly journal entries, including reviewing, adjusting and closing journal entries and month-end accruals.

· Prepare and review all balance sheet reconciliations.

· Reconcile the general ledger with subsidiary management information systems, including hotel reservation and inventory systems.

· Maintain the fixed asset and depreciations schedules and other detail account analysis schedules.

· Prepare daily cash summary reports.

· Prepare and complete financial projects as necessary.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have experience in full enterprise accounting, closing of multiple companies and consolidation of financial statements.

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

· 7-10 years accounting experience in hotel/resort, retail or service-related industries.

· Proficiency with MS Office Suite

· Proficiency with Great Plains Accounting system desired
