Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Purpose:Assists study coordinator in the recruitment and conduction of clinical trials by collecting, prescreening, entering, and reporting information gathered.Duties:* Recruitment: Conduct pre-screen/prequalification phone calls from patient database, interview potential study participants to verify eligibility using approved script and questionnaire

* Scheduling and confirming appointments; arranging transportation for those in need

* Lab: draw blood and prepare for shipment; administer EKG and transmit to central reader if needed;  Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting requests; verifying receipt; maintain lab according to OSHA standards; IATA certified a plus* Protect organization's worth by keeping research information confidential; exercising good clinical practices.* Regulatory: Filing sponsor and IRB correspondence in regulatory binder.

*Skills/Qualifications:Verbal Communication, Organization, Reporting Skills,  Analyzing Information, Confidentiality, Teamwork, Problem Solving, PC Proficiency, Conceptual Skills, Spanish speaking a plus.
