Assistant Billing Expediter

Job Description: Messenger responsibilities include daily stops at Hospital Cashier, Atran Labs, Annenberg, 309 East 94th Street, Mail Room, Icahn, FPA, etc.. Photcopying, sorting, scanning, faxing, and filing laboratory and billing documents. Preparing mailings and shipments. Answering phone and scheduling specimen pick ups. Sorting mail. Retrieving Pathology reports and forms from files and computer system. Receiving communications from email and voice messaging systems. Job Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED.Preferred: Medical Office/Laboratory Experiience, Keyboard skills, Answering machine/Phone skills, Worked with photocopier/scanner/fax machines, Filing experience, Some medical terminology
