Application Coordinator

M-F 8-5 Shift: 1 General Responsibilities: MoneyGram International has an exciting opportunity for an Application Coordinator within our Global Headquarters, located in St. Louis Park, MN. The Application Coordinator is responsible for processing new applications and changes for Money Orders, Money Transfer, International MoneyGram, Express Pay, Bill Pay and Prepaid Cards. Overall responsibilities include: • Research, analyze and interpret the agent set-up documents for completeness and accuracy. • Contact sales organization regarding incomplete documents and missing paperwork. • Process agent set-up documents within required deadlines. Responsible for ensuring accuracy of agent information within MoneyGram systems. • Convert existing agent profiles and set-ups within several complex MoneyGram systems to reflect adjustments to the revised and renegotiated contracts (i.e. additional locations, new products, etc.). The Application Coordinator must demonstrate strong analytical skills, mastery level PC skills to be able to analyze system functionalities and determine how agent set-up can affect the systems and effective problem solving and resolutions skills Skills and Experience Required: • All positions require the ability to model the Corporate Values of Respect, Courage, Passion, Teamwork and Integrity. • All positions require core competencies of communication, leadership, ability to drive change, innovative outlook and problem analysis. • Education: Associates Degree or equivalent work experience (required) • Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a position responsible for pulling reports, analyzing data and understanding the results (required) • Strong computer skills including Work, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn complex systems and database applications. • Proven ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a professional and timely manner. • Strong analytical skills including interpreting data, intuitive judgment and decision making skills (required) • Experience working in a position that required a strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task (required) • Ability to work within a fast paced, deadline driven environment (required) • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures and processes (required) • Ability to work independently within a team environment (required) • Effective problem solving and reasoning skills (required) • Experience taking initiative and driving change (required) • Overtime as needed Special Considerations: MoneyGram International employees enjoy a competitive compensation and benefits package and the opportunity for personal and professional growth.
