NYU School of Medicine is one of the nation's premier academic institutions with a long history of training the best physicians, leading the industry in the search for new knowledge.

We are currently seeking an Animal Technician to conduct all aspects of laboratory animal care and husbandry; assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the animal quarters; provide routine care to the research animals; and monitor / control environmental conditions. In addition, you will maintain records and assist in maintaining supplies; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; train new staff and all related functions as needed.

Our ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree with at least one year of experience in an animal research facility and certification by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science. Excellent communication skills are essential.
