Adult Therapist Contractor

Intercommunity Action, Inc. - Interac - is a private, not for profit corporation established in 1969 to meet the human services needs of the residents of the Andorra, Roxborough, Manayunk, Wissahickon, East Falls and Nicetown neighborhoods of Northwest Philadelphia.  Most of Interac's services are located in these neighborhoods, but today, Interac serves residents of other parts of Philadelphia and the suburban counties as well.



Interac's more than 400 staff provide a wide variety of programs that focus on our mission of providing "exemplary services in the areas of Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities and Aging, for the purpose of assisting people to achieve their maximum potential and enhancing their quality of life"  More than two dozen programs - residential, outpatient, day services, and case management - have been developed to carry out this mission.

We are currently looking for an Adult Therapist Contractor.

The Adult Therapist Contractor will provide assessments and treatment for adults at the outpatient clinic within the guidelines of State, County and Managed Care regulations.

QUALIFICATIONSLicensed behavioral health professional, specifically LCSW, LPC, Psy.D, Ph. D.Willingness and ability to provide therapeutic services in the outpatient clinic during clinic hours.Clearance in accordance with PA Acts 33 & 80.Proof of current professional liability insurance.For every 10 hours of direct service per week, a contractor may bill for 1 extra hour of paperwork time at the non-billable rate.All contractors are responsible for obtaining all annual CBH mandatory trainings.All contractors must consult with their program supervisor face to face at least one time per month.Contractors will hand in invoices for services completed on a bi-weekly basis
