Administrative Director of Surgical Services

Position Profile Reports to the Vice President of Patient Care Services with responsibility for administrative oversight of a three surgical locations with a total of 29 operating rooms, within the main OR, same day surgery, and the eye institute.  The Medical Center does more than 19,000 surgical cases annually.  Oversees more than 135 FTEs with the assistance of a manager, clinical managers, and team leaders, as well as an educator and clinical improvement specialist. Qualified candidates will be seasoned surgical services management professionals have a proven ability to mentor staff, a collaborative leadership style, and be goal oriented; master’s degree or current enrolment in a master’s program required.
