Administrative Director, Business Services - Ambulatory Services

 

  University Health System’s Ambulatory Services is currently searching for a highly-motivated Leader.  This position is responsible for the management and reporting of the business (non-patient care) aspects of ambulatory services.  Such functions include business planning and development, financial reporting and budgeting.  Works collaboratively with medical and administrative leadership to plan and implement changes to improve the efficiency and profitability of ambulatory services.  Coordinates development of business plans and feasibility studies for proposed new ventures and expansions in ambulatory services.  The administrative director is also responsible for providing physician and clinic activity and productivity reports and preparing other management reports as desired by the clinic management.  Also involved in coordination of compensation and benefits for providers.  Works collaboratively with University Health System ambulatory services administration, medical directors, and facility managers as well as UHS fiscal services. Direct supervision is received from the Executive Vice President/Chief Ambulatory Services Officer as well as from Vice Presidents in Ambulatory Services and Community Health/Prevention and also the President/CEO of CMA.  Has a direct reporting relationship to the Executive Vice President/Chief Ambulatory Services Officer of the Health System. 

 

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business or related field is required.   Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field is preferred.  Minimum three years of experience in a medical group practice or clinic setting is required.
