Adjudication Supervisor
Shield Healthcare is a national provider of disposable medical supplies, marketing more than 5,000 items for the care of patients in the home. We are a service organization celebrating our 50th year of meeting the individual needs of our customers and employees. We are currently seeking a supervisor to assist management in the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the operational and personnel activities within their area of responsibility. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience and familiarity with various insurance payers’ guidelines and billing requirements. This position is accountable for monitoring and reviewing workflow, and status of progress within unit. Is responsible for the interviewing and selection of staff, as well as the development, coaching, counseling, and training. Monitors accounts receivable and customer accounts for problems, and reports progress within unit to manager. The job requires attention to detail, accuracy and excellent organization and follow through skills. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
