Accounting Manager

Summary:

 

The Accounting Manager works under the Senior Director of Finance to coordinate the work distribution and manage the day to day operation of the Accounting Department.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the general ledger function2. Oversee the payroll function3. Oversee the accounts payable function4. Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget5. Prepare for and assist in the annual audit6. Complete annual reports7. Oversee initial preparation of monthly financial statements for the RMH foundation and Partners in Behavioral Health LLC8. Take part in the interview and selection of staff9. Train employees10. Ongoing management of staff11. Participate in Hospital’s marketing plan

 

 

Education/Training Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting2. Excellent technical accounting skills with strong GAAP and fund accounting knowledge3. Over 8 years of progressively responsible experience4. Supervisory Experience5. Budget/project accounting background6. Profiency in Excel, Word and Outlook

Strongly Prefer1. MBA and/or CPA2. Affiliation with Healthcare Financial Management - Wisconsin and Experience3. Experience in healthcare setting
