Requirements:

·         Experience in General Ledger, A/R, A/P, and Payroll.

·         Must be able to handle multiple tasks and accounts.

·         Organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.

·         Must have strong computer skills.

·         Solomon experience helpful.

 

Job Purpose:

Supports accounting and office operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, running software programs, handling general office support as needed.

 

Duties:

·         Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondences; copying information.

·         Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.

·         Prepares work to be processed by gathering, sorting, and organizing data and documents.

·         Verifies accounts by reconciling transactions; investigating and resolving discrepancies.

·         Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.

·         Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups.

·         Runs and verifies financial reports.

·         Maintains cash account by receiving, counting, and recording cash.

·         Pays accounts by issuing checks.

·         Records operations results by preparing summaries and reports.

·         Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
