Accountant II

Established in January 1999 as a Sutter Health affiliate, Sutter Connect has grown to be a leading health care management and administration services company providing services not only to Sutter affiliated groups but to other organizations as well.Sutter Connect draws upon our experienced team, sophisticated technology and processes, and high service standards to provide the best quality services and value to our clients.The Accountant II will be assisting the Accounting Manager with a full range of accounting and financial reporting duties, including: Performing balance sheet and bank reconciliations and analysis Assisting in month and year-end close, as well as year end audit review Maintaining integrity of general ledger, journal entries, and tax reporting Accounting and reporting of fixed assets, cash reporting, and budgeting Other duties as assigned · B.S. or B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, Finance or related field. · Two to four years of relevant accounting experience. · Ability to read, write, hear and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job. · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. · Resourcefulness, initiative, and analytical abilities required. · Excellent written/verbal interpersonal & problem solving skills.  Work with minimum supervision and manage own tasks. · Experience with fixed asset, general ledger software, and enterprise accounting software (PeopleSoft preferred) · Strong MS Office knowledge including Excel · Knowledge of online general ledger system, micro-computers, and Excel/Windows or similar spreadsheet software required.
