Account Executive - Houston

POSITION SUMMARY:

Position reports to the local sales manager and is a support role to the manager and local market.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Processes all local market incoming applications.Performs QA on all apps prior to batching and submittal to membership accountingAttaches MARX system verification to all applications and completes batch sheets.Provides supplies to GA’s/Agents and career sales reps and maintains an appropriate supply of materials on hand at the local office Assists brokers in obtaining resolution on member related issuesDirects inquiries to the right internal and external clientsAssists RVP resolve any broker compensation issues and reconciles reports.

 Minimum qualificationS:

 Bachelor’s degree and at least two years’ experience preferably in a healthcare related field.Preferred candidates will have one or more of the following qualifications: Experience with Medicare and/or Medicare managed care.LICENSURE: Required Life and Health license issued by Texas Department of Insurance A motor vehicle driver's license valid in the State of Texas is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge and understanding of Medicare/Medicare managed products, HMOs, etc.Ability train brokers on services provided.

·  Ability to develop and maintain broker relationships.

·  Ability to work independently with little supervision to accomplish goals.Skill and ability to research and interpret CMS regulations and to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with a variety of internal and external constituents, agencies, and groups. Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified business needs.Ability to travel within the assigned region using personal vehicle.

·  Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook).

·  Bi-lingual English and Spanish written and verbal skills preferred.
