We offer area-leading specialties at our 367-bed facility, including: * Cardiac & Interventional Services  * Cardiac Surgery  * Emergency Services  * General Surgery  * Neonatal Intensive Care (Level II & III)  * Pediatrics The Cardiovascular Observation ARNP is responsible for the development of cardiovascular processes and outcomes monitoring for the chest pain population to achieve positive provider fiscal and clinical outcomes. Provides direct patient care for patients admitted in an observation status to the Chest Pain Center with a diagnosis of chest pain, TIA, asthma, Heart Failure, or dehydration. Including assessing, diagnosing, planning and prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, therapeutic and corrective measures, and health promotion and preventive care, under the general supervision of the Admitting Physician participating in the management of patients within the Cardiovascular Observation Center.  Assumes responsibility for initiation, development, implementation and revisions of collaborative care processes relevant to the observation cardiovascular patient population. The CV Observation ARNP serves as a pivotal resource to nursing, physicians, case management and quality departments. Assists in the collection of data, analysis, and implementation of performance improvement projects relevant to the patient population. Provides assistance in education to all CV Staff members within the hospital including but not limited to training seminars. This position requires active participation in department and organizational performance improvement activities in accordance with hospital, JCAHO, and regulatory standards. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Required Job Qualifications include: Current licensure in the State of Florida as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS. Five years experience in cardiac acute care setting (ICU, CCL).
