AR- Managed Services Sub-Contractor Support

General Summary

 

To prepare payment vouchers, coordinate all involved departments' activities, track progress, answer sub-contractor questions, and maintain controls. To take ownership and be accountable for payment and Q&A with sub contractors.  To create consistency in application amongst travel versus per diem, and amongst hospital systems.  To create process flow awareness through departments and have control.  To develop good relationship with subcontractors through excellent customer service. 

 

Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe SCSS will be responsible for preparing the Payment Vouchers for all CCS Managed Service sub-contractors, including travel and per-diem and answering their payment related questions.  SCSS will also set up and maintain Local and Travel Sub to hospital relationships, with rates, contact info, etc.Preparation of the PV’s will be based on reconciliation of the PV to payments to CCS by the hospital accounts, and the SCSS will ensure that we pay the subs only when we are paid and as we are paid.  This will require closely working with Collections and possibly Billing.The SCSS will maintain Local and Travel Sub to Hospitals relationship tables, with rates and other pertinent information.  This will require close communication with marketing and contract personnel.  S/he will also work closely with the person responsible for Travel contractor maintenance.  Ensure that the rates paid to the subs are in accordance with the hospital and subcontractor contracts.  This will require closely working with Sales and Contracts.Forward PV’s to the respective approvers (to be determined, but will be part of Marketing per Sarbanes-Oxley requirements), and will follow up to make sure they are approved and forwarded to Accounts Payable.The SCSS will coordinate with AP to make sure approved payments are made in a timely manner.The SCSS will track the status of PV’s from the time they leave his/her desk until they are paid.The SCSS will field incoming calls from the sub-contractors regarding payments made or pending, and will utilize (human and system) resources available to him/her to respond quickly.This position will be trained in the relevant duties of the above departments and will have read-only access to their systems.  They will be in active communication with members from all of these departments and will require from them and will deliver to them time-effective service.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

1.  Computers including Excel, organization, communication, ability to work independently, persistence, interpersonal.

2.  Prior experience in a high-volume, customer service, multi-faceted environment is essential.

3.  Prior experience in a financial and or customer service providing position.
