APPLICATIONS ANALYST II - LMR
Relevant Work Experience:: 5+ to 7 Years Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Description:As a member of the PCHI LMR Team, the Application Analyst II is responsible for: The coordination, training and implementation of LMR. On-going support and quality customer service to the ambulatory practices for LMR. The participation in guiding of testing, implementation and on-going maintenance of the LMR.Reports to Team Leader PCHI LMR Implementation or Support Working closely with end users (clinicians) from multiple practices in each of the subspecialties, implements and supports LMR. Coordinates and directs the training of LMR, participates in implementation activities for LMR, and provides on-going and on-call support to the ambulatory practices for LMR. Provides quality customer service, serving as an exemplary representative of Partners Information Systems. Ongoing communication, feedback and follow-through with customers, colleagues and administrators are essential. Plan, manage and over-see projects or components of projects, utilizing recognized project management methodology. Facilitates the project management of the LMR. Works with other team members to define and execute quality assurance measures including thorough, detailed test plans. Audits, evaluates, revises and maintains clinical systems to insure data quality and the effectiveness and efficiency of their use. Works collaboratively with other departments and personnel to address user requests and enhancements. Works closely with end-users to define business needs. Serves as a consultant to primary users and software engineers, as needed, to help identify and design, develop or refine specifications for new clinical systems or enhancements to existing systems to support clinical programs/initiatives. Insures completion of all work assignments in accordance with established project timelines. Establishes and creates a positive team environment through leadership and mentoring. Participates in committees, taskforces and/or teams, as needed. Performs all other duties/projects as assigned.Qualifications: Five or more years of experience with computer systems or healthcare required. Strong understanding of clinical software applications required. Experience in training customers on clinical software applications required. Bachelor Degree required. Valid Massachusetts drivers license and own transportation for travel to network sites, as needed, is required. Able to self-manage assuming full ownership of overall outcomes from start to finish. Able to prioritize and simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects. Familiarity with methods of clinical documentation and how these methods affect workflow. Strong analytical, inductive and deductive reasoning skills. Effectively and independently facilitate decision-making with users and administrative leadership in multiple venues and environments. Strong understanding of common software applications (i.e. MS Office) and personal computers, required. Experience with database applications preferred. Strong adult teaching skills in both individual and group settings for diverse peoples. Must be well organized and systematic in work process. Demonstrates exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Able to understand the political climate of the organization and act accordingly. Strong service orientation. Self-motivated, independent and possesses the ability to learn quickly. Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds and levels within the organization. Facilitate group projects towards a successful completion of goals.
