ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Physician Management Group is seeking an experienced, qualified individual for the position of Administrative Assistant.  This position will work under the supervision of the Executive Assistant/Office Manager to provide general administrative and support to the CEO of Children’s Physicians Management Group and members of PMG management. This position will also provide back-up support for other administrative assistants when required, which could include appointment scheduling, tracking meetings and other administrative functions.  Other responsibilities include:

 1.  Provides backup telephone answering assistance and assists caller directly with questions posed.  Provide prompt, courteous and professional phone manners at all times.

 

2. Schedules and accepts appointments for assigned management staff. Updates as needed and tracks changes to schedules to ensure that manager attends various meetings and appointments on time.  Help managers to organize workflow.

 

Minimum job qualifications (education, experience, certification, skills, etc): 

· High School or equivalent required. 

· Prior solid work experience supporting executive level in a professional, fast-paced environment.

· Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.

· Intermediate to Advanced skill level in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Strong grammar skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence.

· Strong organizational skills, with ability to effectively multi-task. 

· Critical thinking skills to ensure all details are recognized and attended to.

· Proactive and extremely organized with high attention to detail.

 

Preferred job qualifications: 

· Minimum of 4 years similar work experience.

· Work experience supporting executive level in a medical/legal setting
