ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE REPRESENTATIVE Mercy Health System Support Service has multiple positions available for an Accounts Receivable Representative in our Meditech Central Billing Office (CBO). This position is located in Conshohocken, PAThe Accounts Receivable Representative (A/R Rep) is responsible for the follow up and resolution of denied, underpaid and overpaid accounts. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: follow up on accounts triaged by the EOB auditors and forwarded via reminder; identify reason for denials and make appropriate claim corrections; identify reason for payment discrepancies and resolve appropriately; follow up on no response accounts; review and comprehend contract language and fee schedules; trend and communicate payer issues and AR impact.Other requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent and one to three years previous experience in a Financial Services department. Associates degree may be substituted for experience, Bachelors preferred. Familiarity with Auto and Workers Compensation insurances and requirements preferred. Demonstrated analytical ability and proficiency in Excel also preferred.Mercy Support Services offers a business casual environment, pet insurance, free garage parking, and is convenient to routes 76, 476, and Septa Regional Rail.
