ACCOUNTANT I/STAFF ACCOUNTANT Mercy Health System Support Services (Corporate Office) has an immediate opening for an Accountant I (Staff Accountant). This position is located in Conshohocken, PA. The Staff Accountant has responsibility for all general ledger related functions including processing journal entries; doing account analysis, preparing spreadsheets; assisting in the preparing of financial statements, review and reconciliation of asset, liability, revenue and expense balances to ensure their accuracy; prepare Restricted Fund reports; and providing information and assistance to managers, Care Unit staff and external auditors. Education, experience, and other requirements include: Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, zero (0) to two (2) years experience required; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals in a variety of positions within the organization; ability to demonstrate a collaborative, team-oriented approach; proficiency in Excel and other financial applications.
