Wireless Trainer

THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc is seeking a Sr. Training Specialist with a minimum 5-7 years experience to provide technical and operational communications training in support of a national tactical communications-training program. Participates in all aspects of user tactical communications training at the field level and the national level. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, conducting needs assessments, developing and updating training materials, and delivering stand up instruction at user sites in the U.S.; assisting in preparing and delivering briefings to senior managers from other Federal, state, and local agencies on tactical communications training related issues; and supporting Federal, state, and local Customs and Border Protection radio network subscribers. A comprehensive security background investigation will be conducted and is required for employment. Travel is approximately 40% of the time. The position is located in El Paso, TX.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of tactical communication systems, network infrastructure and subscriber equipment, user services and operations employed on enforcement oriented Land Mobile Radio (LMR) networks.
2. Knowledge of the instructional systems design and development techniques relating to the mission of providing multi-faceted training to a highly disperse user community.
3. Demonstrated ability to independently provide technical and operational tactical communications training within diverse, multi-mission law enforcement organizations.
4. Implementation of the full courseware development cycle, including revision and update of training materials, manuals, quick reference guides, etc., based on feedback from end users.
5. Experienced in delivering comprehensive classroom instruction (Field Instructor) on wireless devices.
