Warden - Johnson County

Community Education Centers (CEC) is a leading provider of reentry and jail management services.  CEC's Jail Management Division provides a broad range of service options including inmate transportation, security and control functions, booking operations, staff recruitment and training, classification, food, medical and dental services, systems and physical plant maintenance, case management, commissary, recreation, data management, transportation, and or pre-release planning and coordination. The Jail Management Division consists of 14 facilities in four states (AZ, MT, OH, TX) that maintain a secure environment for over 4,500 detainees and inmates.We are seeking a Warden for the Johnson County Jail in Cleburne, Texas.  The Warden shall serve as the chief administrator of the facility.  He/She will be directly responsible for ensuring that the facility goals and objectives are achieved in accordance with CEC Secure Facilities Division policies and procedures, as well as those policies and procedures of customers.  Customers may include, but not be limited to, United States Marshal Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Bureau of Prisons, and Texas Department of Criminal Justice. A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Criminal Justice or a Behavioral Science is preferred.  Supplemented by courses in administration or equivalent experience.   A minimum of ten years of successful experience in a correctional facility, with a design capacity of at least 200 residents, is preferred, of which two years were served as Chief of Security, Facility Administrator, or above. Individuals with strong leadership ability, sound judgment, effective administrative ability and thorough knowledge of the corrections industry are encouraged to apply.
