The ideal candidates will have experience with supporting end users working with Dell computer systems and the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues. Experience with remote access tools is a must. This is a six month contract-to-hire opportunity.Requirements: - Top Secret Clearance is required - Customer service oriented individual with strong verbal, written, telephone, and public relation skills - Knowledge of Microsoft products including MS Office, MS Outlook and workstation operating systems (MS Win XP/2000 Pro) - At least 1-5+ year experience providing support to customers over the telephone - Familiarity with Remedy or other Help Desk tracking software - MS Certified Product Specialist or A+ certification preferred but not required - Daily Duties: - Function as a Tier 1, 2 and above Help Desk Technician. - Receive client queries regarding system problems, primarily via telephone. - Troubleshoot the problem, log calls into Remedy tracking application, either resolve the problem immediately and close the call or forward to the appropriate technician. - As required, assist perform service calls which include overall user trouble call support, establishing system configurations, repair and maintenance for workstations, and associated peripherals and software, and installation and removal of end-user computer equipment and associated peripherals and software.
