Platform Solutions supports a wide range of military and commercial platforms, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, ground vehicles, and unmanned vehicles with capabilities in vehicle management, human-machine interface, precision guidance, and power systems. The company also is developing integrated capabilities in all-weather operation, power management, real-time cockpit information, prognostics and health management, and air traffic management. Position provides engineering ownership for all aspects of production test. Successful performance will require driving test process improvement, and integrating tests into a lean manufacturing environment. Activities include, but are not limited to, the following: Automated test procedure development, coding, & maintenance Troubleshooting and diagnosing test problems with aircraft engine controls and associated subassemblies Initiation and implementation of test cycle time reduction and yield improvement projects Utilization of data to identify trends, diagnose root causes, & implement corrective actions Successful candidate will need to be a self-starter capable of working in a fast paced environment. Ownership and drive are a must. Excellent communication skills are also a must.
