Telecommunications Project Manager

Manages a team of telecommunications technicians and analysts who maintain and support voice, data and video communication systems within the organization. Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, and technical performance of the project. Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of personnel assigned to the project.  Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as an advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area with emphasis on with OSP Cable locators, GPS Locators, High Count Copper & Fiber OSP installation and Maintenance with TDR & OTDR Test instruments & test documentation.  Knowledge of: Manhole & Cable vault Safety Pratices & Procedures for Confined Space Entry.  Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
