Provides technical oversight and leadership to identify and deliver solutions that support organizational and business goals and services across a broad range of business needs. Analyzes, develops, and implements an enterprise-wide technology strategy for a networked Microsoft Active Directory server environment within a SQL server and Convera Retrieval Ware application development framework. Provides technical oversight of systems and network infrastructure to include software application development support. Provides technical expertise to a small team of professional system, network, and desktop support staff. Works under the general supervision of the Program Manager and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Duties of the job: ? Provides subject matter expertise in all areas of IT architecture and design. ? Provides subject matter expertise in technology refresh activities to anticipate future customer needs and identify proactive, efficient solutions. ? Partner with internal and external departments to analyze business processes, identify and develop viable IT solutions for business process reengineering. ? Identify and develop IT strategy, project portfolio, and prioritization for desktop, system, and network operations. ? Coordinates and manages Architecture Review Board (ARB) activities. ? Oversee the development and maintenance efforts of current technology platforms. ? Monitor network performance against defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), implement process improvements, and lessons learned. ? Oversee and direct the performance management and development of IT staff. ? Define and implement quality control policies and standards for user support, desktop/network operations, and software development support. ? Oversee and manage the integration of network and applications development. Required Cisco Switches, Routers, and Voip phones Firewall Hewlett Packard or comparable desktops and servers Cryptographic equipment Microsoft Server Microsoft Active Directory Cisco Routing and Switching Protocols Microsoft Office Visio SQL Firewall Operating Systems B.S. in IS or related field. Hand-on skills for design/architecture required. Experience in strategic technology planning, analysis, execution, and policy development. Extensive experience in managing IT groups with desktop and network operations and software development support teams. Extensive experience in developing and implementing technical strategies and working with shifting priorities. Effecitive writing and verbal communications skills a must.
