Tadiran Telecom Engineer

Modis is currently seeking a Tadiran Telecom Engineer for a 6-12 month contract engagement located in Washington, DC NW.  Job Description: Candidate will support the designated client personnel to implement the Tadiran modules including the Coral Message Center and the Coral Call Master. Candidate will follow the process established by the Technical Monitor in regard to the deployment of the Tadiran system or provide recommendations to establish a process for the successful planning and deployment of the project. For the successful implementation of the Campus Refresh project, the support tasks may include: -Tadiran/Coral design support including the identification of departmental business models and requirements that will be incorporated is the deployment of the Tadiran Campus Solution. -Integration support between Tadiran and also interfaces or integration with systems external to Tadiran, including integration to the ISDNet. -Assist in expediting the telephone replacement project, including phases II and III -Assist with detailed design and configuration of the Tadiran to be deployed during the Campus Refresh project. -Assist in mentoring/training current FTE with limited telecom backgrounds and only Basic Tadiran Installation certifications. -Assist the client with identification of the metrics for SLA Definition / Performance and Availability monitoring of the Tadiran telecom system. Knowledge of Telecom industry and processes is a must. Candidate must be a US citizen and be able to pass a standard background check. Education/Certifications: Personnel proposed for this task MUST possess the following minimum certifications: -Tadiran Installation and Maintenance Certification ¡V minimum 5 years -Tadiran Coral Message Center -Re-certification to include Version 14.67 In addition to the above certifications, the following skills are preferred for personnel proposed for this task: -Advanced Coral Message Center -Significant ISDNet experience -Coral Call Master and/or Composite Candidate must have High School Diploma with 12 years of experience, Associates Degree with 10 years of experience, Bachelors Degree with 8 years of experience. *EMAIL resume to linda.hakkarinen@modis.com Company: Modis, Inc.
