As the Supply Chain Improvement Process Coordinator you will employ Lean methods for capturing, defining, analyzing and streamlining business processes for better delivery of services, data flows, approvals, feedback loops, internal controls, and process execution, which include: - Working in small to large groups to analyze current business processes and make changes to improve the business environment and productivity - Conducting Kaizens events with people at all levels within the organization that focuses on supply chain continuous improvement initiatives - Ensures that technology enables business process and does not dictate process - Identify potential roadblocks for addressing them. Communicate progress, potential delays, issues or roadblocks, and actions steps to impacted parties - Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Communication, Organizational Development or related field - Proficiency in office technologies including MS Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and company databases - Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills - Comfortable speaking in front of people - Creativity and ability to think outside of the box - Possess a strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Knowledge with lean manufacturing techniques such as; value stream mapping, kaizen, kanban, supplier managed inventories, point of use, milk runs, 5S, TPS, DFT, takt and cycle times, single piece manufacturing flow and six sigma - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by challenging the current environment and leveraging successful products and processes from across the operation - Assist in the design, development, communication, approval, implementation, validation and monitoring of company-wide supply chain improvement initiatives - Ability to plan and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, formulate action plans for and execute those plans to drive initiatives through to completion. - Ability to interact in team environment, with a customer-focused approach, and aptitude for continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers - Demonstrated ability to manage initiatives involving cross-functional or diverse teams. - Knowledge or experience in a role that required expertise in change management, process re-designs or re-engineering projects and methodologies People are the greatest asset in any Company ...BAE Systems is committed to a high performance culture and provides an environment that challenges our employees to be remarkable and obtain their full potential.We are an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer that understands the value of diversity and its impact on a high performance culture.Join us ...
