-Oversee the various accounting an administrative functions of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and human resources administration to ensure accuracy and timeliness of those functions.
-Direct accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions. Meet regularly with department heads to keep informed and offer direction.
-Maintain adequate and appropriate financial controls.
-Ensure monthly closing procedures are in place specific to a multi-national organization.
-Provide consolidated financial reporting to Kidde North America.
-Provide all required financial reporting to Kidde North America.
-Provide all required financial data necessary for corporate tax preparation.
-Oversee Contract Review/ Familiarity with Job Cost System/ Project Accounting.

-BS in Accounting or related field required; CPA designation preferred.

-Strong financial reporting background required, with some experience in project accounting.
-5 years of experience in accounting with increasing responsibilities in the area of project management.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
