Sr. Level Contracts Manager
Job Description:Contracts Manager will oversee the Contracts Management Department for the preparation of contractual documents, including: the development of policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards for the protection of the company’s contractual posture, satisfaction of customer specifications and adherence to company policy. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation if terms and conditions. Candidate will be responsible for conducting the preparation, negotiation, acceptance and management of company contracts, subcontracts and vendors. Responsible for the employment, training, motivation and evaluation of assigned employees. Facilitates effective implementation of contract responsibilities within company objectives and requirements. Manages and administers the company‘s contracts by overseeing proposal preparation and assists in contract negotiations. Reviews and resolves issues impacting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives. Oversees facility management.
Required Skills: Proven experience to exercise strong analytical and management skills to efficiently control full cycle management of Government contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, consulting agreements, and other contractual agreements, including cost proposal preparation, closeout, and purchasing compliance. Interface with DCAA on cost proposal audits. Subject matter expert pertaining to government contracting regulations and administration, including but not limited to, the FAR, the DFAR, the Service Contract Act, Davis Bacon Act, and others. Proven ability to exercise strong interpersonal skills for effective verbal, written, and listening communications. Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure. Must possess accomplished leadership skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment, strong organizational and team building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required. Experience with Deltek products is preferred.
