Sr. Contracts Representative

The Operations, Intelligence and Security Business Unit currently has an opening for a Senior Contracts Representative in McLean, VA. Job Description: Responsibilities include preparation of proposals and Cradle-to-Grave contract administration of government and commercial contracts. Requires the ability to lead, review, perform analysis of, and submit compliant proposals in response to solicitations, negotiate and administer contracts, identify contract risk, prepare/negotiate NDA's and Teaming Agreements. Must be responsive to complex inquires from the internal and external customers regarding contract obligations and payment issues. Monitor performance for conformance to contract requirements and provide continual review to ensure all terms and conditions are met and problems are identified and resolved/mitigated in a timely manner. Assure compliance with SAIC policies and procedures. The portfolio of contracts is mainly Government or Government Primes and may include classified contracts and contracts requiring international work. Required Skills: Capability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple, concurrent activities with short turn-around times. Candidate must have ability to work independently and make sound business judgments for contractual issues. Eight or more years of solid experience directly related to administrating and managing T&M, FFP, CPFF, FPP/LOE and/or IDIQ task order type contracts with the Federal Government is required. Must be familiar with FAR and DFAR clauses. Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially excel and Outlook. Excellent problem-solving skills are required. Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance is required.
