Our full life-cycle systems capabilities include system design, integration and test, software development engineering, and maintenance and integrated logistics support. This position requires test and evaluation support for software development projects at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division at Keyport, WA. The successful candidate will perform as the Test Team customer interface; administer test team operations; develop test documentation; conduct software development and system integration testing both on and off-site; provide test evaluation, analyses, and reports; and provide oversight and analysis of system life cycle processes. Specifically, the Test Lead will be responsible for: ? On site and off site development testing, system verification & validation testing, ship dockside and at-sea system testing; ? Development of test evaluation and analysis reports. ? Development of software test plans, test specifications, and test cases. ? Development of test data and test support files. ? Development of shipboard test procedures including system operation & verification test procedures, system installation checkout test procedures, and system operational evaluations, analyses and reports. ? Test support for new prototype development and or system integration of land-based or shipboard systems. ? Configuration Management of all test products and data. ? Special studies and analysis related to test matters. In addition, the Test Lead will be required to prepare monthly status reports, monitor and manage Test Team expenditures, maintain required metrics and provide technical direction to other Test Team members. The Lead may also develop Statements of Work for proposed new work and participate in proposal preparation; integrate applicable CMMI-3 provisions into Test Program and Operations; and work with the Program and Resource Managers to maintain adequate staffing. 1. Minimum Bachelors degree in a Software or Engineering-related field with at least 6 years of applicable experience 2. Software test experience 3. Formal test experience in a DOD environment 4. Experience as a technical team lead 5. Excellent writing skills 6. Secret clearance or the ability to quickly obtain an interim Secret clearance1. Experience with a Windows based system environment 2. Software development and coding experience 3. CMMI training and experience 4. Project Management training/certification 5. Experience developing test simulation/stimulation using tools such as Matlab 6. Network based systems experience 7. Experience with undersea acoustics 8.
