Ships Requirements Analyst

DTI Associates - A Kratos Company is seeking a Ships Requirements Analyst to support the Chief of Naval Operations’ staff in the surface warfare directorate. The Ships Requirements Analyst will directly support the Navy’s ships programs.  Responsibilities include the following:

Assist with the development of JCIDS Requirements to support the Current Ships Branch. Develop briefs, conduct data calls, and staff all necessary correspondence related to the ship construction program.

Facilitate all meetings, inter-agency communications, and requirements analysis in support of the JCIDS review process by the Joint Staff.

Apply acquisition process knowledge and translate requirements development into budgetary inputs in support of the Sponsor Program Proposal for OPNAV.

Minimum Requirements -- This position requires an active Secret level security clearance or the ability to receive a Secret clearance within a few weeks.  Bachelor's Degree is required.  This position requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.  Prior military experience is required; Navy service is preferred.  Experience working on a major staff and/or in defense acquisition is preferred.  Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.  The successful candidate will need to show initiative and work independently on tasks given with little supervision.
