Senior Lead Secure Systems Analyst will support Military Sealift Command (MSC) HQ IT Security Officer, by assisting MSC with administrative and technical security guidance by developing IA policies and preparing certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation. Candidate will interface with other MSC organizations and DoD agencies, regarding the MSC IA program. Candidate will support DITSCAP C&As and implement the transition to DIACAP. Candidate will provide technical support to field units to correct network vulnerabilities and manage security POA&M tracking, and candidate will support FISMA reporting, as well as provide technical expertise to MSC IT systems development and engineering. Required Windows Platforms, UNIX platforms, Firewalls, IDS, VPNs, DMZs, Routers, Switches MS Office Suite of products, Automated Vulnerability Scanners (i.e., Nessus, Retina, ISS) and Gold Disk. 14+ Years with HS or 10+ Years with AA or 8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhD. Must possess Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) security certification. At least 3 years C&A experience using the DITSCAP/DIACAP. Must be experienced and have in-depth knowledge of DITSCAP guidance DoD 5200.40, 8510.1-M. At least 3 years experience in overall management of C&A effort for DoD and/or other DoN agency. At least 3 years experience in IA policy development. Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills. Background in classified and unclassified environments. Desired Working knowledge of government customer policies, procedures and protocols, network security, intrusion detection and computer security incident handling a plus.
