Candidates will perform Certification and Accreditation activities for Major Applications and General Support Systems (e.g. Risk Assessments, System Security Plans, Contingency Plans and System Test and Evaluations; assisting system owners and security support staff develop and implement risk and threat mitigation strategies; providing assistance in identifying, reporting and resolving computer security incidents; developing computer security policies, procedures and best practices; and knowledge of applicable NIST, FISMA and OMB policies and guidelines. Required 14+ Years with HS or 10+ Years with AA or 8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhD Certification: CISSP Proficient in Certification and Accreditation Processes - Proficient in the DIACAP Process. - Knowledge of FISMA. - Knowledge of Network Topologies. -Proficient in UNIX The candidate should possess good organization skills with the ability to exercise discretion and ingenuity to determine the proper course of action while following established standards. The candidate should be innovative, with resourcefulness and a strong drive for results. The candidate must possess and demonstrate good written and verbal skills.
