For more information, visit www.saic.com SAIC: From Science to Solutions® The ASSET BU currently has an opening for a highly experienced Systems Engineer, working on the WARSIM Program, supporting the program's system requirements analysis and system design activities. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will entail the following duties: 1.) Review and analyze system requirements and support the formulation of plans for System Requirements verification. 2.) Perform as lead Design Engineer on specific tasks. 3.) Monitor the design through both the software development and I&T phases of the program. 4.) Monitor the design through Requirements verification. REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS or BA in Engineering/Software Systems/Computer Science. Masters Degree preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS: The successful candidate will have experience with HLA simulation interfaces, distributed network architectures, system performance analysis and familiarity/experience with both the Linux and Windows operating systems. DESIRED SKILLS: Previous experience with other HLA Constructive Simulations/Federations (e.g.: OneSAF, JCATS, JNEM, ISM, AARS, Archer, JDLM, etc.). Have the ability to design, as well as code, the software. Previous experience with the stimulation of C2 devices (e.g.: AFATDS, GCCS-A, ASAS. MCS, AMDWS, FBCB2, etc.). Experience in the development or integration of systems written in Java, C++, or utilizing Oracle/SQL.
