BAE Systems supports the NUWC Division Keyport in providing In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) services for several Navy warship and combat-related systems.  BAE Systems support includes evaluating system and component supportability, sustainability, maintainability and reliability, as well as mitigating known obsolescence issues with legacy components.  BAE Systems seeks a Supply Technician to provide support material readiness assessments.  The successful applicant will support system, subsystem, component, and support material readiness initiatives for various NUWC Division Keyport Code 40 programs.  Specific duties and responsibilities include: - Conducting assessments related to system components and support material readiness. - Monitoring part usage. - Maintaining material baselines. - Reviewing provisioning baselines. - Preparing and tracking material dissemination. - Reporting material status. - Isolating and resolving material deficiencies which detract from readiness objectives.    In support of these duties, the ideal candidate would possess the following skill sets: - Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Professional Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access). - Understanding of procurement systems and processes - Understanding of ship configuration status accounting; experience with parts/provisioning research - Understanding of Readiness Based Sparing (RBS). - Understanding of Performance Based Logistics (PBL). - Understanding of inventory management; and understanding of ship 3-M system.  The ideal candidate is a former Military, Civil Service or Contractor logistics professional with hands-on experience with supply chain management, reliability and service tools/aids such as Weapons Systems Files (WSF), Haystack, FEDLOG, Inventory Locator Services (ILS) or similar tools to help manage supply issues that programs face in the real world. This position is controlled by the Service Contract Act (SCA) and is classified as nonexempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Description Applicable experience as a military Storekeeper/Quartermaster, Civil Servant, or Contractor in a shore-based supply billet Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Professional Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access). - Understanding of procurement systems and processes - Understanding of ship configuration status accounting; experience with parts/provisioning research - Understanding of Readiness Based Sparing (RBS). - Understanding of Performance Based Logistics (PBL). - Understanding of inventory management; and understanding of ship 3-M system.  Ability to attain a high-level (SECRET) U.S. Government security clearance High School Diploma or GED plus 5-years related experience Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Professional Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access) Experience with purchasing processes.
