RECORDS CENTER AND ARCHIEVES COORDINATOR
RECORDS CENTER AND ARCHIVES COORDINATOR Agency: Union County Commissioners. Salary: $38,000 to $48,000 range Hours: FT 8AM-4:30PM Duties: Develops and administers a Records Management Program and assist in developing a Policies & Procedures Manual, inventory and reporting forms. Develops and manages a plan for records storage and disposal. Assists and recommends the updating and implementation of retention schedules countywide. Works with County Recorder in assisting county officials with Records Center. Ensures compliance with State mandated records retention and public access requirements concerning public records. Represent the Records Department by working with local agencies incl. attending meetings, conferences, workshops, training sessions. Perform a variety of public relations duties. Develops and manages departmental budget & maintain inventory. And any other such duties that may be assigned by the County Commissioners. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in a field related to records management, and/or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Qualifications: Valid Ohio drivers license and acceptable driving record, ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, experience in developing, organizing and managing office procedures as well as monitoring and ensuring fiscal accountability, Supervisory experience may be required.
