Ruchman and Associates is an industry leader in providing the Federal government with staffing solutions and facility support services nationwide. For over twenty years, we have served the government in a wide range of professional fields, including administrative/clerical, accounting, facilities management, tour operations, warehouse management, library support and customer service.






Ruchman currently is seeking Project Managers to manage a Support Services contract with the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) in two task areas: Administrative Support & Accounting/Analytical Support













Administrative Support



Duties:

Monitor the overall quality and performance of ongoing work assignments in process though to their completion.Perform quality control checks.Arrange coverage for mandatory receptionist stations, email absentee notifications to COTR.Attend a monthly progress report meeting or participate in a monthly progress report conference with the COTR and/or the Contracting Officer (CO).Establish and maintain a work assignment file pertaining to this work assignment.Provide a monthly report on work performed and hours worked for contractor staff.Prepare technical and cost information pertaining to this work assignment for inclusion in the monthly progress reports.Monitor and track work assignment progress.





 

 

Candidate Requirements:

High level of interpersonal and customer relations skills; Social judgment with the ability to accurately assess the nature of a request and make a judgment about how to handle the matter; Information technology and computer skills with the ability to create, use, and apply knowledge in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access software packages and web-based applications tools as appropriate; Comprehension and memory skills with the ability to quickly learn the organizational structure and functions GAO, and how it supports GAO’s overall mission; General office administrative skills such as setting up files, filing materials, maintaining logs, and making copies of documents;Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the records of GAO employees and other sensitive information; Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy and reliability in their work.






Accounting/Analytical Support




Duties:Manage the staff and work under this task order.Provide support on federal financial work flow processes and procedures (swim lanes) related to the financial management projects, including e-travel, and ensuing documentation.Interact with GAO subject matter experts and other supporting contractors to facilitate the integration of “best practices”.Assist in the facilitation of vendor demonstrations with the GAO subject matter experts.Update demonstration scenarios based on additional findings as they relate to GAO goals and maintain a traceability matrix.Provide support for documentation and assessment for the capabilities of the software provider and provide comment back to the Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager.  Consolidate these comments from other team members as directed.  Assist in collating, reviewing and analyzing documentation for project or process implementation.Provide support to validate systems data.Update various project and technical documentation using our DM5 application.Interact with GAO employees to receive documents, applications or in response to telephone queries.Application of good “customer service” skills.Provide other analytical duties associated to financial management projects as assigned by the Project Manager and/or the Deputy Project ManagerProvide a monthly report on work performed and hours worked for both positions.

All candidates must be a US Citizen, have a clean criminal background and have prior Project Management experience on a Government contract. Those who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
