The qualified applicant applies Project Management skills to provide technical and operational support in the design, development, installation, integration, and testing, of equipment/systems for the Weapons of Mass Destruction Program Unified Command Suite. Specific job requirements: - Analyze customer requirements and statements of work, provides input for the preparation of project cost estimates, statements of work, and other project documentation. - Develop and maintain project baselines to include labor, travel, and material cost estimates and schedules based on established customer requirements and statements of work. - Develop and maintain schedules, work breakdown structures, ECP(s), TD(s) and various status reports. - Monitor, manage, and controls project budgets. - Maintain and update all pertinent project documentation. - Review technical documentation to include drawings, market research reports, schematics, test plans, test procedures, and logistics documentation to include technical manuals and training support packages. - Coordinate and oversee onsite installations, testing, and fielding/system deliveries. - Serve as liaison between technicians, engineering, contractors, suppliers, and US Government agencies. - Direct and monitor work ensuring customer requirements, specifications, and quality assurance standards are met. - Evaluate performance of assigned program tasks in terms of quality assurance standards, cost control, and program schedules. - Chair IPT/IPR, IDR, PDR and CDR meetings between Government Customer, engineers, technicians, and outside contractors. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidate. Applicants must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas. Must have: - Experience with Military Communications Systems - Experience with Military Information Systems - Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of related experience (6 years professional experience may be substituted for degree) Preferences: - Knowledge of Configuration Management and product baseline process - Knowledge of DoD Information System certification process (DITSCAP, DIACAP) - Experience with ATEC/JITC certification process - Project Management Professional Certificate People are the greatest asset in any Company ...
