Prodution, Plan, Scheduling Analyst

This is an excellent opportunity to join our staff in a role that will provide strategic direction for ATK Tactical Propulsion and Controls locations. Alliant Techsystems, Tactical Propulsion and Controls Division, with an office located in Tullahoma, TN is currently seeking a Production, Schedule and Planning Material Coordinator to assist program managers with implementation, integration and execution of multiple program plans. In this position, you will generate/ maintain/ monitor detailed program and manufacturing schedules from the proposed program plans and customer required delivery schedules. Responsibilities for this position include: - Work with multiple subcontractors to ensure all tasks and reports occur on or ahead of the program schedule. - Coordinate any test article build schedules for delivery and vendor demonstrations. - Coordinate efforts required from engineering, material planning and purchasing to ensure timely delivery of all required raw materials to support program build/delivery schedules. - Support budget and schedule metrics development to support analysis of program/plant goals and objectives against actual performance to facilitate concise and accurate program management decisions. - Actively participate in operations meetings and function as the facilitator between program manager and Operations. - Communicate with all levels of program and plant management to report and resolve any schedule and material issues that could impact project and ultimately plant success. Requirements for this position include: - Associates degree in Science or a Bachelors degree in a technical related field - 2 or 3 years experience in engineering, program implementation/management, operations management or material control. - Hands on ERP & BOM experience, profiency in Microsoft Office Suite sofware, especially MS Project. - Involvement in technical subcontractor mangement. - Ability to obtain government issued security clearance. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Works well with other team members, i.e., Purchasing, shipping.Prior involvement in program management activities. - Would like to learn new functions, EAC preparation, proposal preparation, subcontractor management.
