Responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and control of new or improved lean or manufacturing processes, equipment and/or techniques. May make recommendations for design changes to assure compatibility of design requirements with manufacturing capabilities. Provides the cross-functional interface in the identification and correction of potential and existing process deficiencies. Incumbents may also develop quality systems, standards, and documentation to comply with new contracts and military specifications. Plan and implement ESH initiatives to control product risk BS in Engineering discipline or related equivalent work experience. Demonstrated PC knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent interpersonal skills.Prior experience in mechanical / circuit card assembly desired. Experience performing productivity improvements for electronic and mechanical assemblies preferred. Experience developing and implementing new processes, lean manufacturing tools and techniques would be advantageous.
